All children in our school are given access to Century tech for their home learning. All homework tasks are designed to consolidate in-class learning and give children a chance to strengthen their understanding of key concepts. Full details of homework expectations are provided by each year group at the start of the academic year.
Century is an online learning tool for students. It combines artificial intelligence with the latest research in learning science and neuroscience.
The platform identifies every student’s strengths, gaps in knowledge and misconceptions. Children can log in and complete work that has been suggested for them by the advanced recommendation engine, or work which has been set by teachers.
It allows children to take control of their own learning and for teachers to get real-time data on progress, allowing them to quickly identify which students need support or additional challenge.
Century complements existing teaching methods and class teachers have the freedom to decide how they incorporate Century into classroom and home learning.
Children are able to access Century at anytime and anywhere. It is available to them in school and also at home. All they need to do is visit the CENTURY website and enter their unique login details.
