On Thursday, the NSPCC volunteers visited Year 5 and Year 6 to share information about the charity and impart the important message of 'Speak Out, Stay Safe'. The children were a credit to the school, showing respect to the volunteers and asked sensible questions on what to do in certain situations. In a brief thumbs up survey, all the children felt the workshop was valuable.
Here are some quotes from the children:
'I learnt that the NSPCC is a real charity'
'I learnt that they have a safe trusted website'
'If you need help, you can tell a trusted adult'
'I now know the number to Childline off by heart'
'Abuse is not ok, and if someone looks upset, ask if they are alright'
