Indoor Athletics competition - through to the County Finals!!

On Wednesday, 28 of our pupils took part in the very exciting Annual Indoor Athletics competition at the Xcel centre in Walton. 

11 schools took part in a range of events including an indoor adapted long jump, triple jump and high jump.

The children performed incredibly, and it was a very tense moment waiting for the results to be announced. As the compère counted backwards from 11th place, we soon realised we had made it to the top 3 and we were all thrilled to find out that we had won by 1 single point. What a fantastic example of marginal gains at their best! 

Well done to all the children who took part and represented TDJS so admirably. 

We now progress through to the County Finals at the Guildford Spectrum in April.
