A huge thank you to everyone who supported the Eco cake sale. We raised £400! £200 will go to Friends of the Earth and £200 to Thames Ditton Foundation. Huge credit must go to Willa Bishop who turned her concern about climate change into positive action - with a result she was blown away by! Classmates and others across the year group were also inspired to make a difference, and the number of cakes we received was unprecedented. Additional mentions must be made to Sophie Purcell and family for making FIVE different types of cakes for the stall, to Mrs Charlton who hatched the idea with Willa, to Mr Bishop who topped up the total from £370 to £400 and to all the hard-working parents who baked, bought, paid for and staffed the stall in the rain.
