Year 3 had a fantastic day this week, journeying through the three stages of the Stone Age - Palaeolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic. The children learnt all about how the Stone Age people lived and their incredible survival skills during these challenging times. They learnt about the animals that were around during this fascinating era and how important they were for their survival. They even got to handle some original artifacts including a Woolly Mammoth tusk fossil and were chased around the hall by a Woolly Mammoth!
We were so proud of how engaged the children were throughout the day and how well behaved and polite they were. Thank you to the Year 3 parents for sending them in with amazing costumes.
